Results IFR World Championships 2022

I hope that all, all participants and spectators, have returned home safe and well.    Congratulations for your results and thank you once more for showing and/or supporting the Rottweiler as he is and where he should be shown : a working dog on the working field.    The full results of the 2022 IFR World Championships IFH and IGP can be found via www.caniva.com and/or the relevant page on our website .    We will shortly contact all team leaders for a debriefing.    Last, but most certainly not least : my very sincere thanks to the UFR that so succesfully organized the event, maybe with a small team ... but with a great heart for the dog !!!

The Rottweiler world has lost another "Great One" .... Bianka Miksic Kasun ... a warm person, a great personality, a respected knowledgeable and experienced judge, a true Rottweiler Friend ... .    Rest in peace Bianka, ... you will be missed !!!       On behalf of the IFR, our sincere condolences to your family and friends.

Registration for the IFR World Championships 2022.

At this moment, we count 21 registrations for the IFR World Championship IGP III and 12 for the IFR World Championships FH.    I am convinced that these numbers will double.   

I dare ask all Member Clubs to register their teams as quickly as possible.   The sooner our French Rottweiler Friends know how many teams / participants are registered, the easier and better they can organize.

Revoking the IFR World Winner title ... a follow up.

Seen some commotion concerning the fact that the IFR-title "World Winner 2022" was withdrawn for the male dog that at first obtained it, we clarify the following.

The IFR World Show 2022 was organized by the Italian Rottweiler Club SIR under the application of the show regulations of the Italian Kennel Club ENCI.  The competition for the IFR World Winner title is a supplementary competition that does not change nor influence the application of the national show regulations of ENCI, including its regulations concerning doping-control.  

The title of the male IFR World Winner 2022 is revoked.

The IFR World Show 2022 was organized by the Italian Rottweiler Club SIR under the application of the show regulations of the Italian Kennel Club ENCI.

The male Negro Saetta Negri Rott was named best male (and Best of Breed).  Based on this show result and having passed the IFR utility dog test, the dog also obtained the IFR title of World Winner 2022.

We were afterwards informed by the Italian Kennel Club that the show result of the dog is revoked and is therefore considered non-existent.  To avoid and/or stop all rumors, we add that this decision is not based on the establishment of doping but on the fact that the dog did not allow the veterinarian to take a bloodsample. 

Since the IFR title was however inextricably linked to the no longer existing show result, the title of IFR World Winner 2022 is necessarily also revoked.
